If you are reloading,,, you need manuals that have published data for the calibers you are loading. And in those manuals,,(Hornady, Speer, Nosler, Hogedon, Sierra, etc) they all have specs for the brass. If you are reloading w/o manuals,,, then you are tempting fate if you just follow other peoples "recipes" off the net,,, or other means.

Just like heading off into unknown teritory WITHOUT a map. You may get there but will burn a lot of extra gas on the way. Load manuals are the first thing to buy, read and understand.

Thank you guys for the info. I do have Hornady, Speer, Hogedon and Lee manuals but they are all before the 327 Federal Magnum. The loads I have been shooting have worked out really well, coming in at 800 to 900 fps. with a 98 gr. MBC lead wad cutter. My brass length is varying from 1.188" to 1.193" and I thought maybe it is time to trim. I have not been able to find the correct length on the web. I realize that I am defeating the purpose of the 327 but I bought this box of 500 MBC wad cutters and they are great for punching paper.
Thanks again for the info.
