Time For A MKII

I don't mind (I may even prefer) the European heel release on the MKII's.

On the 22/45 the American button makes sense as a trainer for a 1911.

The 22/45 gets my vote for (almost) ultimate .22 automatic. I just wish they had redesigned the magazines. Instead of re using the body of a standard magazine. And the ridiculous base plate.

We are getting off track.

MK II was a great pistol! Unfortunately I don't own one but my two MK III have been modified internally so they are now MK II +..

Mark II with MKIII mag release would have been the ultimate .22

There was a kit to do that in the old days. I think it worked with a linkage that went under a custom grip that was grooved on the back.

I remember that. I think it had a small lever you pressed to release mag.

I believe the Wilson Speed Jector, or Broken Gun Ranch (KS) may have had connections to these types of devices.
