Just found one of those tiny "seed" ticks on my lower leg today.
Was down at my range property yesterday and took some precautions but didn't remember seeing it
during my tick check.
Might have picked him up just walking the dog along the wood's edge around our neighborhood.

Anyway time to treat my woods clothes with the Sawyers spray.

What is Sawyers spray? I use deep woods OFF. Plus I take garlic daily. Any clothes you wear out in the woods can harbor the little buggers til they drop off and roam your house.

I treat my shirts, socks, pants and work boots I will wear when in the woods with the Sawyer spray.
Also I keep the grass short around my range area.
Had good luck with no ticks on me last summer.

I found one crawling on my arm yesterday but apparently missed one that attached just below my waist line. It's chilly again so that will either set them back or make them more desperate to feed.

Here's what I do to minimize the tick problem around here:
(1) Stay away from tall grass areas.
(2) Don't ever wear short pants.
(3) Tuck pants into socks.
(4) Wear light colored cloths to make them more visible.
(5) I use Seresto tick collars on my dogs.
(6) Spray Permethrin in areas where the dogs and me hang out.
(7) Check your body for ticks.
(8) Remove ticks by covering them with liquid dish soap or oil and they will back out. Never just pull
them out which leaves their mouth still in your skin.
Good luck...I HATE TICKS! :x
