Single-Sixer
Just got a new 3 inch KGP-100. Overall I'm pleased with the revolver. However, fit and finish is a bit rougher than GP's I've owned in years past. The trigger is nice overall even though it's going to get wolfe reduced power springs. It was very dry in the lube department from the factory which resulted in a squeaky action. This problem was solved with a proper field strip and lube once I got it home. I was very happy to find the addition of a hole in the grip frame to allow easier take down of the trigger group. Cylinder/barrel gap measured .006 on 5 cylinders and .005 on the sixth. I can live with this although the OCD in me want's them exactly the same. I forgot to check cylinder/barrel alignment. I'll check that tomorrow with the handy Brownells range rod.
Overall, pretty happy with the gun. I really like the 3 inch barrel.
Thanks,
Stephen
