There was a duet (two singers) on the Ray Stevens show recently, one of whom was a Native American, a Sioux Indian. The other was not, and he was the spokesman of the duo.

He introduced his partner and a "real Indian, of the Sioux tribe."

To which his partner replied, "If you want to talk to a real Indian, call AT & T."

The Indian and The White Guy AKA Williams and Ree. Used to be seen frequently on The Nashville Network. They always make me laugh.

I just spoke with an Indian regarding my GM On-Star account. I'm not real sure what happened in the end of the conversation. I then called AMX credit card folks to make sure of the charges and spoke to another Indian. One thing I do, know when you get the Indians talking it is hard to get a word in edgewise. Maybe it was my accent........

They have a script and stick to it.

Here's a tip: Often, if you get a hold of Rashneesh Patel who goes by Bob, hang up and try again.

Why do that?

The same company often has call centers right here in the good old U.S. and after hanging up and calling again there's often a chance your next call will roll over to a native English speaker.

I wouldn't mind speaking to Mr. Patel, if one, he speaks competent English and two is willing to listen and answer, but suffering through a script, buh-bye...

Years ago I ran into Iron Eyes Cody. He pumped my arm Indian style and I went along with it already knowing he was Italian but never would admit to it.
