They look better than OK. Nice contrast against the blue/CCH and unlike real stag they're less prone to cracking.

Looks good from where I sit. Some "imitation" whatever grips have a sort of classic look all their own. :wink: I have a set of Jay Scott "black pearl" grips on my S&W M-66 and I love the way they look on it.
Nice and classy pair of Vaqueros! As close to real as I've seen. Nice touch adding the brown, adds some realism.

According to Sid Ryan's description, they do age and yellow a bit.

I used Fiebing's Pro Oil Dye in Saddle Tan to add the brown touches and then seal with clear paint. I use a Q-tip and dot the color on so it will have subtle unevenness. They required only a little fitting which was done easily with file and sandpaper.

Never knew they weren't the "real thing".
Lay them out in the direct summer sun for a week... they will naturally yellow as the UVA/UVB rays from the sun do their thing to the polymer... or in this case perhaps even the clear coat you applied. Also a good way to "age" new gun leather... turns a saddle tan color to a more "seasoned" looking and richer tone. The sun does the same thing to our skin over time... ages it rather.
