You know...if they'd release that with a 4.5" tube...it would make a damned respectable CCW piece for those really into SAs.

It could of course be chopped, and then customized combat sights of some sort grafted on.

I doubt the barrel is hack saw proof, so 4.5" isn't much of a problem. The ERH will take a bit o work, but it's not that bad either.

I've been wanting to do that very thing with a stainless Single Six for years. Except a roundbutt instead of the birdshead.

That's my plan...the LR cylinder for fun and the Mag cylinder for backup to my Birds Head .45 ACP.

It's the same list price as the Single Ten and I've seen those for as little as $440 or $430.

If it was a convertable I'd be interested. I agree it would be sweet with a shorter barrel and a birdshead grip. Ed

With all those holes, at least the chambers should align with the loading gate like my single ten, since the 22 frames don't have the indexing pawl system.

If my single 10 cylinder works in the 22 mag single 9 (and it should), the single 10 is going back to Ruger for an extra 22 LR cylinder and I'll sell my single 10 and have a convertible single 9.

Yes, I just can't help myself! Ruger's interchangeability of parts is one of the coolest things about Ruger. Even between OM and NM with a little ingenuity.
