I always heard aspirin was the first birth control pill. Placed and held between the knees. Pretty much 100% effective.

Hi,

A friend told me her mother taught her that, yet she came up pregnant anyways.

Mama asked if the daughter had used the aspirin pill exactly as she was taught.

"Why yes, Mama, but then he bent me over!"

I always thought the first child was one of the most effective methods of birth control.

Must not be true, quite a few folks do it again, and again and again.
That's one of the down sides of not watching TV, too much time on your hands. :D

Retired 20 year marine I'm friends with has 5 daughters, when ever a new boyfriend showed up to take one out he would pull him to the side, wrap an arm around him and pull him real close and tell him he looked like a nice upstanding young man who would be good to his daughter and just remember this son, "anything you do to her I'll do to you."
