My tdl on my SR22P has failed. There is a large chunk of plastic missing from the upper left ear. The slide did not come off yet, but if I keep shooting I am sure it will totally break. I am lucky i caught it early. I have contacted Ruger. If they will replace it with the same unimproved part i will be disappointed. I may ask to trade it in for another gun, maybe a 10/22. I have heard that they have done so for others. I have other 22's so it won't leave without one. This gun may only have 700 rounds through it an is in the 360-4xxxx range and test fired in April 2012.
