TACK DRIVERS - Mumbley Peg

I'm not that old and I was taught how to play mumbly peg when I was little. Wooden match in the dirt? If you loose you have to pull it out with your teeth, right?

I got a serious whuppin from Dad over that game when I was about 8 or 9. Broke one of the handle scales on my 25 cent pocket knife. He said knives are for cutting not playing and I didn't get mine back for a month.

Hey Ed,
I taught my Grandson how to play Mumbley peg when he was 8 years old. Not to many kids now play it. We also played Marbles for Funzies not keepers. What has happen to all of our fun Kid games?

I think there's an app for those . . .

It has been a long time since I thought about that game. I'm just glad I never had to get the stick out.

Mumbly peg is a very real felony today.
Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon in Arizona (ARS 13-1203, -1204). No more second amendment rights for you!
