T678 Grips

What would be the correct markings on the inside of the plastic grip panels for a 16 series T678?

Weren't the A8R and A8L for the A54 grip frame?
Don't have my stuff in front of me right now to confirm how the grips are marked, but believe the correct grips for that pistol would be marked A108L and A108R.
The A-100 grip frame came into use at 11-40000

the ones sitting here with the silver eagle medallion , and fit the A100 frames are marked as I noted............ :roll:


and got a few pairs of them to boot......... 8)

Sorry to be so slow getting back on this. All the extra panels I have are marked A-8 with a big R and A00801-L and have silver logos with black background. Suspect these are all MKII since one set came off a KMK512 that I bought new. I do have a set of damaged and unserviceable grips that came off a very used MKII that are maked A-8 big R and A-8 big L. It doesn't sound like my spares would be correct for a MKI.

For the T678 in question in this thread, the medallion has to be in the right panel and there won't be an area on the top left of the grip for a bolt release.

Boy am I embarrassed! Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I guess my only defense is that I have one MKI and whole lot of MKIIs so my thinking is somewhat MKII-centric.

Update:

Leave it to Ruger to make things interesting. I have in my possession a black plastic grip panel marked A-8L which has the cutout for the bolt release lever and one marked A-8L which does not have the cutout. Both are for the A100 frame.
