I'm looking at getting a couple of these very soon. Both are used very little. One is a 9.5" 480 and the other a 7.5" 454. I plan to trade one of them for a 7.5" 44mag SRH if I can find one. Would this be a fair trade? I already have a 7.5" 480 I got in trade a few years ago.
Thanks

Fair Trade= All parties involved think they really snookered the other guy after the deal is done.

Put another way
If you are happy after the dust settles and the other guy will still speak to you it was a good trade.

As far as the guns you have mentioned, I would keep the .480's, forget the .44, sell the .454 and go buy another .41mag. But that's just me.

It would all depend on condition.
Assuming they are all of equal condition I would say "yes" to giving up a .44mag to get a 480Ruger or a 454C. Trade up and enjoy the power!
