In all seriousness please remember NC is a must notify state. As soon as any law enforcement officer approaches you for any reason, you must notify them that you are carrying and hand over your permit. And you cannot be drinking, at all, and carry. If you have beer with you on the beach, leave the gun at the condo. PITA! I like to drink beer on the beach while fishing, so pepper spray, knives and two coonhounds are my security!

My one and only beach/surf injury was stepping on a jelly fish. Painful swollen foot for a few days. This at Va. Beach, say 1970 or so. Wife almost drowned, according to her, I had to remind her to swim. She's blonde. This at Assateague. Oh, don't step on a horseshoe crab either, tough on the foot too.
