Subcompact (single stack) for concealed carry?

Well other than the guns I have listed in the CZ thread, I'm looking to add a sub compact single stack to my collection (for main carry)

There are ALOT of them out there these days and i used to (until recently) owned a Kahr CW9. I may go back to kahr but other than that what would my family here recommend? Personal experiences etc? Thanks!

OK, I'll bite; The Ruger LC9......
It's small, single stack, 9mm and of course a Ruger.
I've had mine for some time with no problems (only wear on the guide rod, fixed with a rod change out to metal).
I carry mine when I'm not carrying my LCP.

Didn't Springfield just come out with a single-stack 45 compact?

Walther PPS in40 or 9. Very slim. Fits in a pocket. Handles like a full size. Very acurate for its size. Very reliable. 3 magazine sizes. Made in Germany but backed by S&W service.
I looked at them all and the PPS is the one I went with. Ed

I still like my SR9c. It's not single stack, but IMO, the grip is nearly identical to many single stacks. IMO, the difference is size between the SR9c and LC9 is not enough to talk about, and with the 9c, you get higher mag capacity and a real trigger that doesn't have a 10 lb pull with an inch of travel. If you've owned a Kahr, maybe you're used to the heavy, long trigger pull of a DAO, but I just can't ever bring myself to go DAO.

+1 on the SR9c. I bought 1 last year with the stainless slide and I love it.

the LC9 is nice, although I prefer the new S&W shiled a little better. The XD single stack 45 is small, but not as small as the two I mentioned

Yeah, the SR9c my father-in-law has is AWESOME. I would definitely consider adding one!
