It was torture to sit thru. The game was soso but everything else was pure woke evil! I will add...
I lost most of my hearing during my stay in SVN in the '60s and this may be the first time I considered it a blessing...

I don't watch sports at all. Zero.
I watch NASCAR and other racing events. Motocross, drag racing (cars, not men in drag).
Never really saw the attraction. Players signing multi-million dollar contracts to play with a ball. No thanks.

How disappointing this thread is. You want to talk about the superbowl or the racial differences. Didn't you see the Snoop Dogg commercial, where is says "How stupid is it we have to make a commercial about this?"

This thread needs to be renamed, cause it sure aint about football.

Reread the thread title. Does it reference football in any way? If YOU want to talk about football, I am happy the Eagles won. They pretty much took advantage of the Chiefs, wouldn't you agree? I was talking about the pageantry of the whole thing and how it ruins the game experience. If it truly is America's game, how does one race (just 14.4% of American citizens) dominating the pageantry make any sense at all? Black National Anthem? What about Asians, Native Americans, Arabs, Indians, etc. ? Aren't they Americans as well? Were they represented in any way?

I haven't watched a SB half-time show for years, so I wanted to see what they looked like . What a colossal waste of airtime! Who in blazes produced that mess?

I stopped watching sports when they started with disrespect for the flag and the anthem. I now watch 1 football game a year, the Army-Navy game. So for me it's Pro Rodeo where they honor God, the flag, national anthem and military service, past and present.

As a kid I attended several rodeos. For me, its about the most boring thing around, only surpassed by basketball. I'm one of those who stopped watching football when the kneeling began, but that has become a thing of the past so I am enjoying NFL games again. I had no real favorite in the Superbowl, being a Packer's fan, but as I mentioned earlier, did want the Eagles to win so I was not disappointed.

I enjoyed seeing Mahomes get the beat-down he deserved. Game was fun to watch; commercials, not so much. Whatever happened to the Budweiser frogs? Never heard of the half-time singer. Then again, couldn't understand a dang word he said. The backups and choreography were good. I was hoping for another Janet Jackson mishap! Terry Bradshaw needs to retire or FOX needs to get rid of him.
