Stripping nickel finish?

I posted a few pictures of a Blackhawk I got the other day in the Gallery. It has a nickeled 45 Colt cylinder. What is the best way to remove the nickel finish? I may do it myself and Orpho Blue it, but if I decide not to, who do you recommend to strip it and refinish.

Harton has a local guy he sourced out stripping my nickeled OM .45 to.

Mahovsky has a $35 min charge to strip.

I had the local chrome shop strip the nickel off of two S&W ribbed barrels for me and it worked great. They only charged $10 to do the work.

If you soak it in plain old Hoppys bore cleaner the nicle will fall off. J.Michael
