Still with the dang flyers...

Shot my first sub-0.5" group from 7 yards yesterday. Time to move the target out to 15 yards!

Still, most of my groups are between 1.75" and 2.25" so I'm nowhere near capable of shooting at the level my equipment is capable of delivering.

Have you taken notes as you shoot to determine if your flyer is the first shot or the xx shot?

What kind of gun? A wheel gun you also need to note which hole in the cyl.

Hi Dan, Thanks for the question!

The gun is a 2017 Ruger SR22 semi-auto, with a Taylor Tactical magazine upgrade, shooting 36 grain 22LR Remington Golden Bullets. The pictured group of 5 rounds were the first five shots of the day - and the best I did all afternoon... what does that tell ya?

You need to look as you shoot and note each shot's position. Not the first five. Each shot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

When I am striving for quality I keep a duplicate target on the bench and number a mark for each shot in the same position as the hit.
