Thanks for the corrections, both of you. (Gun people, IMO, OUGHT to be "picky" about details--especially if they're shooting old guns and/or handloading!).
At one time I was a big fan and accumulator of Spanish guns, including handguns. They made some crap, what nation hasn't, but were great at adapting/improving others' designs (the Finns do a good job of this, too). Their "good 'uns" were very good indeed. Only ones I have left are a Star PM .45ACP I got from a retired cop in Oregon and a prewar (Spanish Civil War) AyA 16 double I brought back from Europe when it was easier to do that.
