Stainless markII mags?

Just bought a MarkII target with the 5.5 barrel in stainless and was looking to get some additional magazines. Are there stainless ones available?

I do not think I have ever seen a Stainless MK-II magazine MK-I or
MK-III either for that matter. good luck with your search.

I have never seen stainless 22/45 mags. I have seen pictures of some that were nickel plated, but I don't see the point. I bought the cheapest I could find, and bought a lot.

I recall someone like AMT made some 'stainless 22 mags years ago..... seen a very early "in the white" (no finish, but it was still made of steel) from Ruger,except for the Bill Ruger Signature model, black bottom to boot, none others????soooo, if they were made for that, SOMEONE made them, and there must be some more out there, somewhere in the time/space continuem.......... :roll:

I have a couple, but I can't remember if they are stainless or nickle. They are aftermarket.

Ram line made a 12 shot ss mag. I have ONE, and have not used it.

I have some SS Ram Line mags for MKIIs. I haven't used all of them but I have one that I've used for years that works great. I also have some AMT SS mags that work but do not hold the slide open after the last shot. Not sure what that's about.

I have two 12 round silver mags that came with a mkII I just bought and have no idea whose they are.

I will try to get a photo and put it up, but if it is a 12 round it will be a RamLine. They used a flat ribbon spring instead of the coil spring to get the space for the extra two rounds.

That has to be them and they are worlds smoother that factory.

I too have a couple of the stainless ramline mags. They don't load in my ultimate mag loader so I stopped using them.

If they're Ram Line they should be labeled so on the bottom.

These have black Ruger bottoms, small smooth retraction button and red internal plastics.

I just joined the forum and thought I'd comment. Eaton Supply, Inc. in Anaheim, CA made an aftermarket stainless 10 round mag. I have one that I bought in the 80s from Oshmans in the Houston area.

Box states it is "For Ruger Standard, Mark I & Mark II and AMT Lightning Pistols". Given the slight differences in these pistols, I wonder if it works in all of them. It has worked flawlessly in my MK II.
