Anyone ever seen one of these? I remember reading somewhere that it was produced one year only. Mid seventies maybe?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

My understanding is that they were listed as a cataloged item one year in the 70's but never went into production.

I've never heard of any 30 carbine Blackhawk made in 'stainless', I know they made a couple of 357 Maximums in stainless. 3 ,maybe 4 of them...
Yes, we've had 30 carbine BHs "finished" in SSMetalife over the years so you will "see" some out there that LOOK Like 'stainless'...( wish I had the Hawkeye we did years ago, that would really mess up a few "minds" out here....)

I would love a SS Blackhawk in 30 carbine!
So would I!

I don't understand why this gun has never been offered in stainless. I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

Met a shooter in AZ who had his 10" SRM hard-chromed. It removed all "worries" about flame erosion, and looked just plain cool to boot
