SR9C Ghost Rocket Install Questions

I recently purchased a Ghost Rocket and was wondering how many iterations people needed to fit it and the final length of the TCT. Looking at the video on the Ghost site it sounds like the initial length was around .340 and the final length ended up at around .280. If .01 was taken off each time then it looks like around six iterations were needed. Just curious if this is close to what other people did. I am looking at possibly taking off more than .01 the first time to reduce the fitting time.

Also, after it is fitted how do you ensure that the trigger will still function under all conditions for example like the temperature range. Do you get it working and then take of another .005 or do you just polish it and call it good?

Thanks,

Never measured mine. Installed, attempted to work gun, didn't work. Took Ghost Rocket out, filed away some, re-installed and attempted to work trigger, repeat until it works. Then I did a final "buff" file, then polished the whole damn thing with a dremel and flitz. ~400 rounds later, no hiccups.

It took three tries before I had it perfect. It's just a trial and error thing. Just take your time and don't shave too much each try. I have about 400 rounds through it since the rocket install, and it has been absolutely perfect. I LOVE the way the trigger is now.

Best to take your time and do the old .010" trim each time. Sure it takes a little while to do, but you'll appreciate the results more when done right. Besides, each gun is a little different so knowing what someone else did to theirs won't do anything but give you a little guideline at best.

Business cards = .010"
