Last Friday had 9 FTEs- what was happening was, the spent casing stayed in the chamber, and the slide tried to feed the new round- so they butted up to the spent case.
One time, the new round slid up under the partially ejected case, but only once.
I received my new SR9 a couple of weeks ago, so far so good, and I'm glad the 9c waited til now to mess up- it's cold now, so I wear heavier clothes, and can carry the SR9- it fits into my Crossbreed ST, and into the Fobus paddle.
The Streamlight TLR-4 has to come off for carry, but let me put in a plug for that unit. TLR-4 is good. Light doesn't seem that bright, but plenty bright to determine who it's aiming at- and the laser is bright red, I went out to about 30 yards and could still see it- couldn't see the X on the target, but saw the laser.
One other thing, a few weeks ago I was firing my carry-rounds, Remington (I think 155-gr) JHPs, not the special SD rounds, plain JHPs, $28 per hundred. This was the first time I had a problem, but the FTE was totally different- the case on the JHP actually peeled back on one side. I have notifed Remngtn, but since I don't have the box with lot # and stuff, they aren't too interested. Altho supposed to call me back. Will try and post pics of both the FTE and the peeled casings...bee awhile, can't remember how, gotta look it up.
Oh, one OTHER thing- my pocket pistol, TCP 738 .380, is also in the shop at K-T.
