Sr9/c Loaded When Up Indicator

Has anyone tried filing it down so it doesn't stick up so far? Just wondering because it seems like it should work for those who think it's overkill.

I am considering doing this mod eventually. I do like the loaded indicator because it's nice to run your finger across it in the dark, but I also think it's a little exaggerated. I think as long as you make the front of it slightly diagonal like it already is, you should just be able to use a punch to pop out the pin and then take a grinder to it.

I filed mine down a little. Works great.

You can remove the LCI and file it down, just keep an angle on the end to help activate it when loaded.

I filed mine down and it is about half as high and works fine. Go slow and check your progress a little goes a long way.

Same for me....filed down but kept the same angle. Much more visually pleasing.
