Does Ruger Still Support the SR9?

I've had a few but just bought an SR9C recently. I wanted to keep a gun hidden in my house and the SR series has the features I'm looking for, the safety, loaded chamber indicator, and mag disconnect. I bought it used of course but still looks great. I changed out the recoil guide rod, striker, and mag springs. I shot it last week and all went fine.

But it had been a while since I took one apart and I forgot to put the ejector up before putting the slide on. When the slide went forward some small piece of what looked like plastic flew off. I couldn't find the piece and it might have been nothing, and I don't see any spot in the frame that is missing a piece of plastic, but I wouldn't mind getting the gun checked out. Does Ruger still work on these guns?
