Just bought my SR40 yesterday. When i got it home I broke it down and cleaned it. I put it together and broke it down once more and spent the evening familiarizing my self with all the bells and whistles and moving parts.
I went to the range today with 100 rounds of American Eagle .40 S&W rounds, 165 gr. Loaded the magazines with ten rounds each. in the first 40 rounds the pistol jammed 4 times. Looking for a little insight in to what might be going on. Brought the pistol home and throughly cleaned it.
I have owned revolvers but never a semi automatics but do have experience handling them and have taken the NRA Basic Pistol Course. Any advice on what may be going on and what I can do to not have this problem. I have read great things about the SR40 but was a little disappointed today with its performance.
