I simply think my SR22 is great . The only thing I see wrong is the front sight is not centered . Calling Ruger maybe they will streighten it out .

I'm sure they will take care of it but sheesh this is getting crazy with the amount of site problems they have had. SR40's and 9's had issues, LCP and LC9's did as well, and now the SR22? Sheesh Love Ruger but hopefully they do better with this going forward. Heck even my SR40c has the same problem. I tried drifting it without much luck. But I still shoot okay with it as I've learned how to adjust for it now.

What was the problem with the LCP

As I understood it early versions had the front site coming completely off when firing at times.

That would be a interesting problem since the front sight on an LCP is machined into the slide and not removeable.

Its completely possible I've misidentified the model on that. If I'm wrong full apologies. But I do recall reading reports on the internet of this happening on one of the pistols. Granted it is the internet.

Taking it all as a whole and even throwing that out there is a trend of reports about Ruger sites in general having oddities associated with them. I bought a Ruger Mini-14 tactical for instance that is currently sent back due to two problems I had with it. The first was a problem with the bolt hanging/ jamming while trying to chamber a round. The second reason it was sent back is the front site was noticeably canted to the left. The version I got was the Mini-14 tactical, the one with the ATI adjustable stock. This is important because the front site picture is attained by looking through a grove in the top rail system. Even under ideal situations this site is somewhat obscured by the rail, but still usable. With even a slight cant off center they become worthless. This issue alone I would have ignored since this version is built with optics in mind.

So I suppose the fact my rifle is also currently back at the factory for repairs caused me to take notice of this thread and kinda combine it with the problems I've already heard about. I expect it should be back next week as that will be around the 2 week mark. Hope its fixed. :D
