SR22 pistol colors

Noticed all the different colors offered with the SR22 pistol, does anyone have one of these? I'm wondering if those are cerakoted or the coloring is actually in the polymer? Seems to me that sweat and cleaning chemicals might remove the color, if it's just painted on...

My granddaughter has one of the purple colored SR22s. Seems the color is "in" the polymer and not a coating.

Regardless, she's shot the dickens out of it 2 summers without a problem and it still looks new. No purple fading or chipping, etc.

Good to know, thanks! I ordered a 'differently colored' SR22, it came in today, but I'll pick it up tomorrow when the LCP arrives, too.
