Looking at having my SR1911's trigger pull cleaned up. Not wanting a "hair trigger" by any means just a crisp trigger pull around 4.5 pounds would be ideal.
I have heard mixed opinions about doing a trigger job on MIM parts. Some say the polymer used in the MIM process is not fully cooked out during the process and will cause some stiction even with polished mating surfaces.
Would I be better off either forgetting the trigger job until I can source standard hammer and sear or is it good enough to just use the factory MIM parts.
