SR 1911 10MM

I want to put an optic on my SR1911 10mm. It has the Bomar Target sights on it now. Is there anything I should know about removing the Bomar? Does it get pushed out R to L when looking from the rear sight to the front or L to R? Is there a set screw holding it in place anywhere?

On the SR1911, the Bomar sight is typically drifted out from left to right when looking from the rear.
