Have any of you watched the series Squid Game on Netflix? I watched episode 1 and got about three quarters of they way through episode two and that's all I could take.

I was hearing a lot of advertising about it on TV. Well...it's a Korean movie and the story line is absolutely ridiculous. And, on top of that it's full of the absolute worst acting I've ever seen in my entire life.

You have to see it to believe how bad it is.

The premise is kinda entertaining not much different than a lot of scifi. Totally unrealistic just meant to entertain. But the acting and even more so the real bad over dubbing of english makes it impossible to get into. Got through two episodes don't think I will go for three.

I watched the whole thing. The acting get better, but your right, the first episode isn’t very good. What I can’t figure out is why kids are watching it. My daughter in 7th grade says a bunch of kids in her school watch it. I didn’t let her at all.

I can’t see why it’s so popular at all.

Exactly right, and it gets better as it goes. It's sort of a Korean version of Hunger Games. Yes, I watched the whole thing, and overall didn't think it was too bad.

It's useful that you can watch Netflix at 1.5X speed, which I usually do. I wish all streaming had this feature, would save me a lot of time.

Right now I'm watching You, which is a lot like Dexter, which a lot of people liked.

I don't have Netflix nor any other service for my TV. We only have antennae TV, and that has many channels that broadcast old TV shows. The old shows are refreshingly pleasant to watch, and are free from nudity, profanity, and vulgarity. Suits us just fine!

Saw the title "Squid Game" and thought it might have something to do with stupid motorcycle riders (squids). I guess not.

I had you as adding nothing.

We love calamari at my house. Although it’s octopus, not squid, if there is much of a difference.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but The title of the show Squid Games, comes from a kid’s game in Korea. It’s a grid layout on the ground that roughly resembles a squid; and if one person can force the other out of bounds, they win.

I watched the first 2 and sped through the rest until the last. I figured I learned who was going to win and was right. It had a few little twists, I thought were dumb. Over all I would give it 2 stars out of 5. Maybe younger folks would like it better.

Yup, wife and I watched it.

Thought it was pretty entertaining, although somewhat predictable.

3 out of 4 stars
