Did you ever have one of those gun things you intended to do, but kept forgetting
to do them when it would be easy? I have some 15 round M1 Carbine magazines
that the springs are original issue (read that as the same age as I am, 77) and do
not feed properly. I have stretched them (more than once) and they do fine for a
month or two, then go back to not feeding properly. I DO have a 30 round mag that
is about ten or fifteen years old, that feeds flawlessly, so I'm reasonable sure it is
the magazine springs that are weak.

Well . . . . I FINALLY remembered to order some new Wolf springs. Easy as can
be, except for the quantity. I have five and they sell in 1, 3 or 10. Sooo, I got two 3
packs, and they are in process. Six springs plus about $5 in shipping = less than
$40. I'm happy. Purchasing five individually would have cost $3.50 more.

Wolf has a nice, easy to use ordering process and you can sign up for E-mail
updates (really?) but that's a yawner. The order confirmation was to me before I
got my E-mail processor going (read that as fast).

At least I got the springs on order before anything stupid happens. 8)

Well, I saw an ad for a Ruger PC Carbine in stock that was on my to order list, but forgot about it after running down to pick up some groceries (curbside service). Remembered an hour later, but of course they were out of stock by then. I’m only 75.
