Spotted: .22 Shorts

Saw today a2 I-5 Guns, Olympia, WA, and might be of interest to some here. I have no affiliation with I-5 guns.

Remington .22 Shorts US$8.99 per 100. Have no idea if that is a good price or not. Took a double take as I have not seen .22 Shorts on a dealer’s shelves in more than a few years.

I don't often see .22 Shorts on the shelves, but the last time I bought some - my dad wanted a couple boxes' worth for his Henry .22 - IIRC it was $7.99/100 round box (CCI).

I have often wondered why .22shorts always were more money than lr's, I guessed it was because the demand was low. They also were usually premium brands, I've never seen low quality shorts.

I liked to have some around for my Marlin 39. Seemed like you loaded it on Sunday, and shot it all week.
