spent shell casing

I bought two new Blackhawks (480 and 454) and a LCR last weekend and none of them had a shell casing in them. I was wondering if they stopped putting them in the case. I always look and see when the gun was made.

I've seen several people post saying their guns came with no doesn't shell casing also. My 480 didn't come with one either.

My 454 Blackhawk didn't either.

The two states that required it by law no longer do. So they no longer bother it seems.

How long ago did Ruger stop including the empty shell casing?
