speed loaders in Redhawk

I haven't used the factory wood grips on a Redhawk in many many years and I don't recall if I had any difficulty using speed loaders with them. Can anyone tell me if everything works ok, or if the grips are too thick at the top?
Your help is much appreciated.

I have used the HKS speedloaders with a Redhawk with regular grips. If I remember it is a little tight but they worked. After that I dished out the grip on the left side a little just to make it easier. 8) 8)

You shouldn't have a problem with them. I do not have any issues with speedloaders on my Super Redhawk with the factory Hogue Tamers on them.

That's what I was remembering but it has been so long ago that I needed to make sure. Thanks!
I'm having a pair of stag grips made and I've requested they be slightly thinner than factory wood grips, so I should be good to go. My primary use will be with .45acp full moon clips anyway and they're a little shorter than .45 Colt's in a speedloader.

M25-5 for the 45 Colt version, although the M29 will work in a pinch (much wiggling and teeth-gnashing required).

The HKS work for all four chamberings:

357 = M27
41 = M57
44 = M29
45 = M25-5

The chamber edges in all four could use a bit of gentle chamfering for speedier reloading; recommend this be done professionally.

That's the nice part of the moon clip conversion, all the chambers are chamfered during the process.
