*Special Operations Forces Prefers 9mm over .45 Caliber?

As a sidearm, personally, I'd prefer to carry a .44 mag semi-auto.
10mm next, then the 45ACP & the.40 S&W.
9mm not even a round I would consider.

I'm referring to a kill or be killed scenario, 25-50 yards...in pest holes such as Iraq, Afghanistan & Pakistan.

When they get to where they can choose, rather than what they are issued, its more about whats gonna be available, rather than bore size and feet per second or foot lbs of energy, and such. Reality.

There are times when I like a few extra rounds in the magazine. Not that it pertains to all situations, just like it if most else is accounted for.
