Got a new to me 101 and as the trigger resets if you dont make a full reset the cylinder stop will not drop down and the trigger feels frozen is this normal? I would not think so. I opened it up everything is clean and lubed. If you reset the trigger real slow you hear one click and pull the trigger won't budge let it go another click and it is fine! any idea's the gun is in like new condition.

bigtubby, Although DA revolvers basically work the same way, the engineering is quite different to get "there". Anything less than a "full" function cycle will normally give you problems, although various levels of "wear" can fool you into thinking a gun is working without the full cycle. I "do not" recommend messing around with partial cycling as "jamming" the action can lead to broken or chewed up parts! The S&W revolvers will also lock up with a partial cycle. As noted by Pete, your SP-101 is working normally......................Dick
