I've not shot this sp101 357 mag yet. That being said can anyone carry s 4 in sp101 in front pocket? I can drop this revolver in my front pocket with no proble,, no printing and it's very comfortable. Is that unusual? I just need to find a pocket holster for this 4 in SS beauty.

Depends on what pants I’m wearing. A 4” barrel revolver is about the upper limit of what I can conceal in my pocket with my typical wardrobe.

Mika will make a pocket holster for any gun, and equally important to fit a specific pocket shape.

Can't recommend him enough. Awesome product, great quality, former LEO.

I carry mine in a nice, leather holster. It is my woods gun. Much lighter than a GP100. I would never even TRY to conceal it.

I have the same holster in my cart for my 4" SP, but debating on a cross draw for the 4" before I 'pull the trigger' on it. Can't even imagine trying to put a 3" in the pants I wear, let alone a 4" (mostly jeans), but I'm only about 5'6"

I carry a sp match champion 4.2. I carry with 38 +ps. It’s a hand full with 357. I have no problem concealing it iwb appendix carry. In the winter I carry owb.

You might look for a pocket gun to carry in a pocket. Thats not a pocket gun. Even a J frame S&W round butt with 2 inch fits in my front pocket. It's not easy to sit with a firearm that big in there. Cargo pocket might work.

I’ve recently changed over to Duluth Trading post pants. They have some deep pockets. No doubt I could carry a 3” SP101 and possibly a 4”.
The problem is, they are so deep it’s hard to get my truck key out of the pocket.

IMHO, the 4" SP101 is an excellent choice for this carry. It's just a bit more bulky than the compact 9 I switched to due to length of the butt and thickness of the cylinder. Far easier to access than a 'behind the hip' strongside especially when driving.
