sp101 32 magnum

hello,i picked up a sp101 ruger 32 mag.3 in.barrel a few weeks ago at a lgs for a fair price,it was as new in box.I collect 22 and 32 cal. guns,mostly smiths but like the ruger as well.My ques. is a ruger sp101 32 mag. just sold for 1,125.00 on gunbroker w/ 9 bidders I think,is that the going price or a just a fluke ?

Well, I haven't kept up with the SP's too much, but the 32 H&R mag has been discontinued for a while. I usually "average" completed sale prices to get a fair idea as to true values of any guns.

WOW is right! I have a SP101 .32 H&R with 4" barrel. I think I paid $345 for mine new.

They had a 3 Inch at the last Gun Show for $600 which was plenty high. It did not sell. I talked the same dealer down from $560 to $500 on a 2.25 in 38 Special in as new condition. So my guess is about $550 would have taken that one home with no problem. I thought about it a little, but I do not need to add anything else different to my reloading mission. I have a hard enough time keeping 38, 40 S&W, 10mm, 44 Magnum, 45acp, and 480 Ruger loaded.
