Would like to find a set of "Target" grips for the SP 101 similar to the Pachmayer Presentation or S&W J frame target style. Does anyone make such a grip? The Hogue "banana" style finger groove grip isn't what I want. These would go on the .22 version.

Have you looked at Herrets (sp) in Idaho? I'm not sure if they do or not. You might call them and find out? I think they do them for GP100s.

I have some of theirs for a Smith Model 41 (yes I know it isn't a revolver) but they are awesome grips.

I suggest that you go to Ebay and search for Ruger SP101 wood grips. There is a supplier in Thailand that makes various types. They cost approximately $40.00 including shipping.

Just discovered that Hogue is now making a full size grip for the SP101 in both smooth & checkered versions. Have seen a "representative" photo showing both styles on a S&W revolver. Don't really want to invest $95-100 in a pair without at least seeing picture of the actual grips on the SP101. Just wonder if anyone has any actual experience with these new grips. Amazon has every model listed.
