SOG Speed Sixes

SOG currently has stainless Speed Sixes with 2" barrels for $280 a pop. I have a little bit of experience with SOG and anything I have bought from them in the past was pretty badly beaten up. Does anyone have any experience with these current guns, any idea where they got them?

Thanks Acorn ~ I'm not finding the Speed Sixs on their site. You have to be one of their dealers or an FFL to buy there?

...A stainless Speed-Six with a 2" barrel? I always thought that 2.75" was the shortest for a Speed-Six...

Yes, it's the 2.75. And you probably do need to be a dealer. My dealer told me about them, but they don't have any pictures of real guns and he has no idea what quality they are. SOG's website is dismal, apparently you need to get their printed catalog for anything useful.

I called a couple days ago and they were all sold out of the 3 models. Rep said they were PD trade-ins. Said they got "slammed" with calls/orders.

I just found 4 Speed Sixes on Gunbroker, same seller, same model as SOG. Price is $350. I wonder if the seller bought 4 from SOG, bumped the price and put them on GB? They look awful, pretty badly scratched and grips beat. That said, these are Sixes so I am sure they are totally functional but I'm not sure I would pay $280 for those when you can get them in very good condition for $350-$400 on a regular basis.
