Housebound & bored I installed a DAO hammer I scavenged from a NYCPD contract Service Six I converted to DA/SA. Put a Pachmayr Compact w/open backstrap grip on yesterday. If Ruger ever made a more perfect CC gun I don't know what it is.

I'll nominate my 3" SS .327 Fed Mag SP101 as serious competition at least. :)

That is really sharp looking. It would ride really well in my other cargo pocket.

Absolutely. The only knock I've got on my 2.25" SP101 357 is it's five vs six shot and your 327 has six. Problem solved

If I remember correctly, the SP is only 3 to 5 ounces lighter than the Speed Six.
Probably negligible when packing it on your hip and an additional round to use with the Speed so ….. I’ll gladly carry 6.
Somebody lemme know if I’m off on the weight please.

Seems to vary depending on source but as far as I know a SP101 357 2.25" is @25 ounces & Speed Six 2 3/4" 357 is @30-32 oz. but I don't have a scale to check it.

Cool, I guessed 3 to 5 ….. you suspect 5 to 7 so, close enough LOL

I think the 3 1/16" SP101 357 is 27 Oz vs 2.25" 25 Oz. upon further investigation. Then there's the heavy barrel vs tapered on early Speed Six 2 3/4". Like you said, close enuff.
