Snap-caps in my ruger red label

Hello there,
New here... just picked up an older (blued rec., fixed chokes) red label in 20 ga. I must say it it a sweet little gun.
Question; If I let the hammers down using snap-caps, can I then dissassemble/reassemble the gun? This would be to use the caps in other guns if needed. I had a bad experience doing this on an skb o/u some time ago, where I couldn't get the gun back together with firing pins down.

No need for snap caps in a Ruger, they can be safely dry fired.

I've not experienced any problems doing it this way with my Red Label..
