Very nice!! I love those 8 3/8” Smiths - I’ve got an almost twin to that in a Model 48. That is a beautiful revolver and nice grab. Some might say you need to keep up the trips to the LGS if that quality is to be had.

How many have seen a 5" K22 from the factory? I have one and it's authentic. The S&W name is dead center on the barrel. A cut down would have it off center. I also have the K38 with 8 3/8" barrel alog with a few others.

Hand Rifle!!

Having an addiction for any Smith K, L, or N frame with 8 3/8" pipes, I had 4 just like that. Selling off some
surplus these last few years, I'm down to just one 17-3 and holding. Of course they had to have target hammers and triggers before they became attractive to this geezer. An equal 617 has also been retained.

Food cans at 75 yards are doable with open sights................the challenge is fun - walking slugs up to
the target until it falls.

I love K22s, and K32s, and K38s - I have more than one of each.
Lately, I have been impressed with Ratzeburg made Korth revolvers from the 1960s. The Ratzeburg Korths are rare with only 7400 odd built between 1965 and 1981while Willi Korth owned the company. Not many were imported to the U.S.
They are now being imported due to increased gun control in Europe. I just bought a .22 Sport Model made in 1969 for a little over $1600. It is in nearly new condition.
I have paid more than that for a K22 and way more for a K32.
