Anyone have any experience with a single stage drop in trigger for an Ar style rifle. Plenty of reviews out there but most is old.
thanks

I put a CMC single stage 3.5 lb trigger in my AR. BIG improvement and I would highly recommend them. Installation takes only a few minutes.

If you really want a single stage trigger you don't have a lot of choices, and among those Timney is widely considered among the best. I've got them in both 3lb and 4lb versions and they're excellent. I have no experience with the CMC trigger that 427mach1 mentioned.

Thanks for the input. I ordered the Timney 3lb the other day. Any BCG advice?

Just ordered the WMD Nickel Boron X Bolt Carrier Group. Sounds good on paper. Anyone have any experience with this product?

The Timney 3# trigger is an excellent choice, I also have this in my rifle, I do recommend some anti rotation pins though, even though it says there not needed, my hammer pin fell out at the range, the kns pins work very well

Finally got to try the Timney trigger and WMD BCG. Worked great. no play in trigger, perfect reset. Nickel boron WMD BCG much cleaner than stock after 400 rounds.fired great.

But, A lot of weight added.

Still very much worth the extra weight for the performance.

Based on reviews, I bought a Rise Armament RA-140 a bit back and today installed it into a new build. Haven't fired it yet, but it is nice and light and crisp. Normally around $120 but can be found sometimes under $100.
