Base pin on my new Single Seven kept jumping out. Ordered a stainless knurled locking base pin from Belt Mountain and fits and functions perfectly.

I doubt if any change in accuracy could be seen short of using a machine rest and firing several hundred rounds to establish a standard group size. Those who feel that a half of a thousandth in base pin diameter will notably improve accuracy are just kidding themselves. Improve confidence and thus attitude towards the gun and better results due to that, yes.

Knocking on wood mine has not had this issue. Did yours start right away or after a number of rounds? I have heard reports of both.

I started replacing the base pin springs with Wolf extra power base pin springs years ago on every Ruger six gun I bought, new or used. I have a pretty large collection of Ruger six guns and have never had a base pin jump since I started that practice.

Mine has same issue. I sent to Ruger. Hate to send a brand new revo back but would rather it be right.

One of my Bisleys did that even after I installed a belt Mountain pin. The Wolff extra power catch spring cured the ailment. I now install the new spring on all of them. They just work, and should be emulated at the factory.
