I am interested in a Ruger Model 00471 Cat # KRBN-415W Bisley revolver I ran across at an auction site. I would like to know if this revolver indexes to the load/eject position or whether you have to manually line up the cylinder to that position? Sure would like to know before I bid on it. It is a 41 Mag.
Thanks,
Don

Rare bird, only about 1000 made. The experts will be along soon but IMHO I don't think the cyl. will line up to load. Still worth buying as its easy to make it free spin. Like new or new in box I would go up to $600. But thats just me. Your results may vary.

That is an Acusport Bisley probably from around 2003. I have two Bisleys and neither one indexes correctly, you have to use your eyeballs to line up the cylinder with the ejector and loading gate. Unless the gun was made recently, and I don't think any 41mags have been made recently, it will not have the correct indexing. 8) 8)

None of the new models will index correctly except the Flat top Blackhawks and the New Vaqueros. And there are a few FT 41s around but not Bisleys and not stainless.

However get the gun, there's at least three solutions to make it index.
