Single Action Barrel and Ejector Rod Length Question

How short can the barrel and ejector rod be on a 44 magnum Super Blackhawk and still be able to eject brass readily? Thanks.

I imagine it doesn't fully eject them but it has the short buttonhead basepin to make a little room. Best run that ejector rod enthusiastically. :wink:
