I have a Thunderbeast (TBAC) 22L. I shot it, I heard it, I bought it on the spot.
Seriously consider having a specific Gun Trust drawn up on your behalf. The cost is nominal compared to the benefits it provides to you, and your trustees once you are no more.
Like many firearms accessories there is a lot of hype surrounding suppressors. Everyone is an expert, and most dealers are quick to discredit any brand that they don't sell as being inferior. Do alot of research. Get some one on one time if at all possible. Once you do you will find that it will never be apple to apple comparisons with regards to decibel ratings and tone resonance. It simply can't be. Also, any videos you watch with sound just be aware that no camcorder, iPhone, smartphone, web cam, whatever video source cannot accurately tell the sound story either, because sound amplitude and range dynamics cannot be translated by these devices without being compressed to format. What that means is that what you hear on YouTube isn't necessarily an accurate reflection of the suppressors capabilities, to the positive and/or negative.
Also, understand that some suppressors are better suited to pistol shooting than long barrel rifle shooting, and vice versa. And as with all things gun, you will find tradeoffs and compromises. What's right for one guy may not be the ideal application for you, but they are probably both great suppressors.
Last but not least.....kiss your bank accounts goodbye. You will not go through all this trouble for just one.......
