Sign of over-pressure? (Pic)

OP's primers do not show any sign of excessive pressure, instead, they show a firing pin not hitting squarely (skid mark). Same problem I'm haveing on another thread with a Springfield XD, except mine won't fire.

Sorry, but the primer skid mark is common with most striker fired guns, XD's do it, Smith's too, so do Ruger SR series. Glock's have a slot to prevent that.

That's good news. Did not know that. At least my XD is normal, thanks! Sounds like mine needs to be took apart and cleaned real good. Thanks again.
