Wanted to share my run around.
I have been looking for new .358 norma mag. brass or even a box of new ammo. Can't find any in the US, I have found some boxes of that stuff that was made in the 60s or maybe 70s. I have enough old brass from that time frame. On the web I found brass listed in stock from 2 places, one in Canada and one in England. Neither would sell it to me or to a US FFL holder. The English company stated I need export licensing and an import document from an official authority confirming I don't need a permit to import the brass cases. The Canada gun shop only said they won't do it per their law and costs.
Yeah, I can make my own from .338 win mag brass.
BTW, I contacted Norma USA, they have it listed with a product number in loaded ammo and brass. No prices shown while prices on other calibers of ammo and brass. My phone call to them, they said there is no products with those product numbers and also looked then up by name. Maybe someday they might make them again.
